I’m Joanne, founder of Joanne Elizabeth Portraits, a private home studio based in Bishop’s Stortford. For over twenty years, I’ve been creating portraits that are authentic, stylish, and full of personality — from polished corporate headshots to creative, dynamic images for actors, models, and entrepreneurs.
Lighting is my passion. I love how it shapes a face, sets a mood, and tells a story. My clients come to me not only for high-quality photography but also for the experience itself: a relaxed, welcoming environment where even the most camera-shy individuals feel comfortable. Every session is designed to put you at ease and bring out your natural personality in front of the camera. I work in a relaxed, easy-going way, but I’m always looking for that elusive something that makes you uniquely you.

Beyond Portraits
