About a Studio Actor Portrait Session

I create images for Spotlight, Mandy, agents, and social media that help actors stand out, get noticed, and get called in. But my sessions go far beyond delivering a set of headshots they’re about capturing truth, connection, and the essence of who you are as a performer.

The Session That Changes Everything

When you walk into my studio, my priority is simple: to make you feel relaxed, supported, and completely yourself. Actors often arrive with nerves or self-doubt, but something shifts once we begin. I create a space where you feel seen and understood, and from there, authenticity naturally unfolds.

Many clients describe the experience as transformative. Seeing an opportunity to reconnect with their craft and remember why they chose acting in the first place. The images we create together feel honest and powerful, often reigniting confidence that had been forgotten or pushed aside.

My Approach to Actor Portraiture

For me, actor headshots aren’t about the cameras, the lights, or the technical setup. They’re about human connection. It’s that emotional bridge between you and the viewer that makes a headshot memorable.

Connection can’t be rushed, which is why I only book one actor session per day.  My full sessions are deliberately generous, often lasting four to five hours. This gives us space to breathe, explore, settle into the moment, and create without pressure.

There are no limits on outfits or looks. We shoot seated, three-quarter, full-body, expressive, still, whatever helps tell your story and showcase your range. Throughout the session, we review images together to ensure we’re creating exactly what you need.

Your full session also includes a complimentary one-hour top-up within the year, ideal for updating your portfolio if your look changes.
